Down to 236.5 pounds today. Going to keep going strong.
Haven’t written lately because I am so busy with clinicals.
However did lose a pound and am down to 238LB’s. I am pretty proud of myself since my body weight skyrocketed at one time to over 335+ pounds because of bodybuilding
“supplements” messed up my thyroid seven years ago. I went from a normal weight to a horrifying weight because of it. Here I was a normal, if not skinny guy trying to actually put on weight (I weighed 170-180 at 6′3″), and then messed up my liver and thyroid and it has been a slow process to recover and actually lose the weight. I learned not to buy any “body building” supplements, especially over the counter from anyone. Some of that stuff can mess you up. Long story short, my liver is better but not perfect yet. My thyroid is improving but not sure if I can get full function–borderline right now. Was taking synthroid but I stopped and am trying other methods.
Anyway, after that supplement fiasco, I quickly loss 89 pounds in 90 days and the last three years have been in the 220-250 range.
At 6′3 I don;t mind 220LBs because I still lift (minus the
supplements) and I look good and people like the way I look at that weight. Its’ just when I creep up into the 230’s or higher I like to do something.
I am blessed, I have the most incredible real life friends, mostly women and we got out to eat and whatever and they are my rock so that helps. So my goal is to look like a leaner, more fit natural bodybuilding look as time goes by.
I am going to write my food down and go to bed.
Breastfast: roast beef tossed salad with green peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes+apple.
Lunch: Two hamburger patties , mustard, pickles, green olives, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes.
Dinner: Chicken-veggie tomato soup+ some peanuts and another apple.
Not a lot going on. Had to get my annual TB test for clinicals, plus we have to pay for them, Oh well. Everybody in a clinical program has to have them but it wasn’t too busy because there is a place right on campus.
My first year of clinical’s and I finished with High Honors. Yippee!
Breastfast: Apple and water.
Lunch: Baked Chicken, green beans, and a tossed salad with ACV.
Dinner was homemade tomato-veggie soup, a tossed salad with chicken strips and ACV, and a two hamburger patties with mustard, onions, green olives, mayo, tomatoes, but NO buns.
Snack: A small handful of peanuts.
Not much going on today….just studying and watching shows on MTV and VH-1 and a little Basketball. I did left weights today, did 25-reps on each arm with heavy dumbbells. Good improvement.
Breastfast: An apple and water.
Lunch: (Take-out) Chicken Almond Ding with fried rice and egg roll, (Drained the grease through a strainer to remove a lot of fat).
Dinner: Was two hamburger patties, tomatoes, lettuce, mustard, pickles, no bun, but did put a 1/2 slice of 2% cheese on each one with a dab of spaghetti sauce.
Late Snack: An apple and two pieces of chocolate. (That’s good for me, I can usually eat the whole box).
I am officially making all you girls that support me my unofficial Valentine’s. So you have been officially…knighted …or whatever you call it.
Not to much going on, had an article I wrote published so I am pretty happy about that.
Just trying to stay on top of everything and not get behind in my clinicals. It is getting tougher and more time consuming. Yet, there will be a pay off in the end.
I didn’t weigh myself because I didn’t get up until very late in the morning and like to weigh myself at the same time. However, I don’t feel as determined and dedicated as I did before when I lost so fast.
Oh, well….
Breafast: Had an apple.
Lunch: Was a homemade cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, mustard, pickles, mayo and some bread. Also had my leftover taco meat mixture and drank some water.
Dinner was chicken cordon bleu with a tossed salad (olive oil and ACV), and some homemade chilli. Drank more water.
Some girl I know called me out and asked me out and offered to buy me a drink. She is a hottie, but I like her for more than her rocking body and pretty face.
This may sound strange coming from a guy-but her sense of humor and intelligence blow me away. We are in a similar program and I am much older than she is, she has a boyfriend and we have been just friends for a while, but we are close enough now that she calls me why she is taking a bath—sweet! (I never so much wanted to be a bar of soap). But we’re really just friends from my perspective.
So anyway, I didn’t go. For one, if i drink, it won’t stop at one, and then I’ll get hungry and blow my diet. Secondly, I’ve wasted a good portion of my life on booty calls and would like something more. Plus, I am still self-conscious about my weight even though a couple girls have actually told me they like bigger guys. I don’t view myself as sloppy fat, just big, but it doesn’t make a difference.
So anyway, now I am doing my laundry and walking around naked because I waited to do all of it at the same time. So I definitely need someone to take care of me-how funny is that–LOL Agggghhhh!!
Okay-my weigh tis still 239LB’s.
Breakfast: Eggs, apple,and chicken with a dab of spaghetti sauce.
Lunch: Homemade Chilli
Dinner: had some egg sandwichwith a dab of mayo and 2% cheese, and piece of chicken with a little spaghetti sauce.
Snack was peanuts and walnuts.
Wow, another day out the door early. Had to take a big exam for psych rotation. Had a substitute so scantrons won’t be checked until late this afternoon. Have some anxiety not only waiting, but during the test. Wonder if there is a cure for that?
Breakfast was an apple, grape juice, a few tomatoes, and two hamburger patties with mustard.
Lunch was chicken with a small amount of spaghetti sauce, and mozzarella cheese. (Also had a few egg noodles which isn’t on my plan).
Had some homemade chilli (hamburger,spices, tomatoes, onion, green peppers, chilli sauce), with healthy tortilla chips and a small handful of few peanuts and water.
Plan on working out tonight.
Okay, I had to be up by 5:00am to get to work by 6:45am for clinicals. So I didn’t weigh myself. Not a lot going on today.
Breakfast: An apple and a hamburger patty with mustard, and sliced tomato.
Lunch: Green Tea and some Bearitoes Tortilla chips.
Late Afternoon: Two hamburger patties with mustard, tomatoes, green peppers, sauerkraut, and some mixed veggies (minus the high glycemic index carrots) LOL.
